In early Fall of 2018 Cal-Tex Construction was awarded an exterior repair project by the Washington County Community Development Agency to make various repairs to the siding, fascia, rails, railings and trim boards at the Briar Pond Apartment complex in Oakdale. The project included exterior finish carpentry, painting and logistics that entailed working around and with the residents of the complex without disruptions. The project was further complicated because the apartment complex was built on the side of a hill, was three-stories high and immediately adjacent to a large pond that made it extremely difficult to access the back of the buildings where most of the work was to be done. And because the exterior of the complex was to be completely painted CTCS had to get the project finished before winter weather set in. CTCS completed the project ahead of schedule with no alterations to the budget.
