At Cal-Tex we believe in training, both on and off the jobsite. We offer all of our employees NCCER training and classroom instruction with our accredited instructors and require that our apprentices be schooled for 4 years of classroom instruction prior to taking their Journeyman’s test.

Assists the Journeyman Electrician with all facets of electrical installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting.

Does layout, installation and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and devices. Uses and maintains hand and power tools. Repairs wiring systems and installs new electrical systems including the installation of conduits, cables, tubing, and performs testing and troubleshooting.

Responsible for estimating, bidding, and managing all types of electrical projects of all sizes, including commercial, industrial, and residential. In charge of customer relations, labor resources, financial management, billing, contracts, and change orders.
