Location: Lakeville

Airlake Airport, just south of Minneapolis and St. Paul in Lakeville, mostly serves recreational fliers but is also ideally suited for business aviation. Cal-Tex’s involvement with this design-build project included the site work at the airport’s largest hangar, a whopping 135×150 feet! Some of the electrical specifics include:

80- 230 watt 2×4 high bay fixtures with the tallest part of the hangar at 38’ high; 1200 amp service; 2-20’ huge fans; an elevator; and the main door which measures 100’ wide x 30’ tall; and the side airplane door measuring 60’ wide x 20’ tall!
