Boathouse Brothers Brewery

Boathouse was a project meant for Cal-Tex Electric.

There is a saying; new ideas often need old buildings. And Boathouse Brother’s did just that. In 2017 the Boathouse Brother’s took up residency in a building that had been a Hodge podge of other establishments over the last several years. After they peeled away layers upon layers of former establishments and were down to the sheet rock, brick walls and wood siding, Cal-Tex Electric stepped in and took care of all the electrical and lighting. What made this project most unique, and often challenging, is that with the age of the building there were several different elevations in the ceiling! Shawn Jacobson was the lead Journeyman on this project and he remembers it being the first time he had to put receptacles into corrugated steel!

We are fortunate to call the Boathouse Brother’s friends and enjoy visiting as often as we can to say hello and appreciate one of their many excellent brews.
