Cal-Tex Electric completed a full Design Build project for Omnetics, a world-class connector design and manufacturing company based in Minneapolis. This large-scale project focused on developing a modern manufacturing facility that supports both production and administrative operations. Our experienced team provided a comprehensive Electrical Design to ensure the facility met the high-performance demands of advanced manufacturing. The project included construction of a large manufacturing floor along with two levels of office space designed to support engineering, operations, and administrative teams. As part of the scope, energy-efficient LED lighting was installed throughout the entire facility, providing improved visibility, reduced maintenance, and long-term energy savings.

A key component of the project involved the utility separation of two existing 3,000-amp electrical services to better manage power distribution across the expanded facility. Additional distribution panels were also installed to support new equipment and future growth. Through strategic Electrical Design and precise Electrical Installation, Cal-Tex delivered a reliable electrical infrastructure tailored to the needs of Omnetics’ advanced manufacturing environment.
